Data obtained from you including personal data may be shared with persons in the line of service to you for the purpose of conducting job search, background checks and references, to find you work and for other lawful purposes related to the Workmate's recruitment services.

Workmate will collect and maintain contact or personal information provided by its online service users, including but not limited to their names, addresses, national identity number (N.I.N), mobile telephone numbers, email addresses, CV, photographic image or ID, copies of any academic results if applicable, references from former employers, guarantors related information and so forth.

3. It’s Storage

All of your data that we collect from you will be stored digitally on a secure non-public computer or in paper files which are kept in locked storeroom.

We will only store limited and necessary information about you on our official mobile phone which we need from time to time for our out-of-office hours, emergencies, on weekends, public holidays or when out of office which can include: name, residential address, email, telephone numbers, and may include related information to communicate effectively with you or prospective employers.

We have to hold this data about you to ensure we operate as a lawful employment business for the purpose of outsourcing permanent or full time staff to our clients and therefore we must make sure you are eligible to live and work in Nigeria and have the necessary skills and qualifications to carry out the duties required by prospective clients.

In the case where we may make your data available to a prospective employer, school, restaurant or a private residence employer you may have to provide extra information to them which could include a copy of your training certificate or previous employment information in order to assist the prospective employer to make a fair decision on your application.

Our website does not have any known active cookie activity nor other means except for the use of SESSIONS variable to enhance our users surfing experience.

6. Expiration of Service

Any paper file about you kept in our office, excluding electronic copy, will be closed and destroyed 5 years after it’s creation if you do not indicate your further willingness through your return to use our services within the period.
